To Ishigaki



In 2015 I did my 13th trip to Japan. I enter through Fukuoka, from there I flew to Naha on Okinawa main island. 
From there I took a ferry to Kume-jima, back to Naha by plane arriving to Ishigaki-jima.


Ishigaki-jima is a beautiful island and a good point from where reach other islands of Yaeyama archipelago such as Taketomi-jima, Kuro-jima, Iriomote-jima including tiny Yubu island and  the furthest one, Yonaguni-jima, neighbouring Taiwan.

Last fortnight I traveled from Ishigaki to Tokyo during Setsubun, by train to snowy Sapporo celebrating Yuki matsuri, then Mino and finally Fukuoka to come back to Madrid.

Along this trip I have met good friends I had, some of them since my first trip in 1989 and I also have met new ones in friendly Okinawa.

Paseo por Mallorca

En 1983 y después en 1986 viví en Mallorca.  La isla entera es un gran parque natural en el que montañas y llanos, pinadas, olivos milenarios y espectaculares calas y playas se reparten el espacio. En un breve paseo en 2025 visité la bonita ciudad, mas zonas peatonalizadas, limpia y un gran desarrollo en el plano cultural con una puesta en valor de todo cuanto allí ahí, sean artistas como Miró u Barceló, museos como Es baluard, los centros de la familia March, Caixa forum, galerías... Añadidos a un patrimonio en que destacan el barrio gótico con su flamante catedral... Y el único castillo circular de España.
