Ato in Spanish comes from the word "atar," (tie).
in Japanese, "footprint."
So...
ATO "slip-on without laces" (as my brother Alberto said).
They're comfortable with a tatami or linen insole.
Even more comfortable with a washable terry cloth attached with Velcro
for soft contact with the instep.
But the most important thing is the trace they leave. There are various designs... seahorses, starfish, ammonites, fish, letters, octopuses, jellyfish...
The instep band features decorative silk elements by various artists such as Miro, Sidney Nolan, Malevitch, Hokusai...
The Stratos design includes a frame of the mineral mica.

スペイン語の「Ato」は「アタール（結び目）」から来ています。
日本語では「足跡」という意味です。
つまり…
ATOは「靴ひもなしのスリッポン」（兄のアルベルトが言っていました）です。
畳や麻のインソールで履くと快適です。
洗えるタオル地とマジックテープで留めると、さらに快適になります。
甲への当たりが柔らかくなります。
でも、一番大切なのは、履いた跡が残ることです。デザインは様々です…タツノオトシゴ、ヒトデ、アンモナイト、魚、文字、タコ、クラゲ…
甲のバンドには、ミロ、シドニー・ノーラン、マレーヴィチ、葛飾北斎など、様々なアーティストによるシルクの装飾が施されています。
ストラトスのデザインには、鉱物の雲母（マイカ）のフレームが含まれています。

ATO "sin cordones" (como dijo mi hermano Alberto).
Son confortables con plantilla de tatami o lino.
Más confortables aún con felpa lavable pegada con belcro
para un contacto suave con el empeine del pie.
Pero lo principal es el rastro que dejan, hay diversos modelos... caballitos de mar, estrellas de mar, ammonites, peces, letras, pulpos, medusas...
En la franja del empeine hay elementos decorativos en seda de distintos artistas como Miro, Sidney Nolan, Malevitch, Hokusai...
El modelo estratos incluye un recuadro del mineral mica.
